RealShare Student Housing is pleased to announce an afternoon of golf at the prestigious Cottonwood Valley Golf Course on the grounds of the Four Seasons Resort and Club, Monday, March 24, 2008, with a 12:30 shotgun start time.
The Cottonwood Valley Golf Course is often referred to as the private, members’ course at Four Seasons Resort and Club and is most well known for its first hole. This famed hole features a green shape, much like the great state of Texas, and a bunker the shape of Oklahoma. Cottonwood Valley hosts the first two rounds of the PGA TOUR EDS Byron Nelson Championship. The course is fair, but also has teeth. Cottonwood Valley is the course that ended Tiger Wood’s streak of 142 cuts made on the PGA TOUR. Tiger incidentally had a piece of the course record at 61, until Arron Oberholser fired a 60 in his second round in 2006. Cottonwood Valley was designed by Jay Morrish and renovated in 2006. The renovations included new greens, tee boxes and bunkers. Jay Morrish also designed TPC Scottsdale home of the Phoenix Open.
